An FBI Agent who he let in on his secret. Kendall kept detail notes on how Clark ran Los Angeles. He gave everything to Roger. Kendall new the risks but went anyway. Back to Los Angeles. He went back to make sure she was all right. He was sorry he left her in such a mess. Kendall thought of her every day. His sweet Camila. He needed to see if she was ok. Kendall went back to get them. He left in such a haste he didn’t have time to get them. His journals. They were safe. Safe from prying eyes. He would never let them fall into Mr. Anderson’s hands. He would have to fake his own death to stop him. No one must read what he wrote all those years. It was Kendall’s way of decompressing over the years. Ever since he lost his father before the war. His Journals were his way of dealing with the loss of a friend. Kendall knew in the wrong hands; they would compromise so many. Even the security of this country. Did his boss think he didn’t know? Kendall knew Mr. Anderson would come here looking for them. He would never find them. Kendall looks at the small town by the ocean. He hopes Roger will stay alive long enough to fight back. Kendall walks the beach. He looks down at the sand, getting on his shoes. He held his suit jacket in one hand over his shoulders. He looks at the mountains. The waves splashing back and forth. He knew what he must do. Kendall sighs. The life of an agent. Always alone. Always an agent. There was no other life for him.
