This is the second book in the Dancing with the Stars series. It is about the choices Kendall made. The promise he gave and where it led him. In Dancing with the Stars, Mr. Anderson told Kendall to get married. Mr. Anderson told Kendall he would blend in better. Kendall complied and got married. He hated every moment of it. In Dancing in the Moonlight, it’s about the conflict of Kendall being marry and being an agent. How he tries to be a good husband, and father. In the end, he knows he must be true to himself. Kendall wants to go back to his life in Los Angeles, but Mr. Anderson said no. He must stay and complete his mission. This book starts the story of Carly. The gift she was born with, and the promise Kendall made. Kendall learns that her gift can see right through him. Carly sees Kendall for who he really is. The part of him he hides from others. Kendall seeks out a wise woman who tells him that the nightmare inside him is something he cannot control. It is a part of him. Kendall asks the wise woman to hide Carly's gift, so he won’t be found out. Dancing in the Moonlight is also about Dani and her dream of getting marry. How she almost gave up on that dream. Then she met Kendall. This story is about her dream and how she realizes it’s not what she thought it would be. Dani struggles with being married and raising two small girls. Thrown into an environment away from family and friends. Kendall realizes in this place, the rules he lives by won’t get him anywhere, and learns to adapt. He makes new friends but longs for the life he had in Los Angeles. In the end, Kendall makes a choice to be who he is trained to be. An agent. He runs away from his family knowing that they would be safer without him.
